Sunday Bests: Afro Cluster
For 20 years, HiFi has specialised in postponing the working week that bit longer, and squeezing as much fun out of the weekend as possible. Each week at the Sunday Joint we welcome all you weekend warriors in for a free night of cutting edge live music and DJs, and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
So, to celebrate this “day of rest”, we ask our SJ bands to name their Sunday Bests. Here are the choices of Wales’ premier hip-hop outfit, who play at HiFi this Sunday 23rd April 2017…

Sunday: day of rest, work or play? What do you do?
All 3 combined but in no particular order
Your most memorable Sunday?
Most memorable Sunday would have to be playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury last year & then headlining the Rabbits Hole Glastonbury a few hours later.
What can we expect from your performance on Sunday?
You can expect an explosive live show fusing authentic sounds and rhythms of afro-funk and hip-hop with impassioned, politically conscious lyrics atop bold melodies, afro-beat aural acrobatics, rich harmonies and complex rhythms sure to melt faces and induce furious boogieing.
