DESCRIPTION:Le Phonographique aka The Phono opened in 1979 and it’s widely regconized as the worlds first gothic nightclub! The Phono was frequested by bands like The Sisters of Mercy\, The Misson\, March Violets and countless other bands. It soon became a safe haven for all sorts of alternative people who were seen by others as freaks\, weirdos and misfits! \nStarting in 1981 The Phono ran a Saturday afternoon drinking session. Paying homage to this Hifi Club will be opening from 1pm to 6pm. You can expect to hear a combination of the best punk\, post punk\, newwave\, goth\, grange\, alternative rock and the best dance floor fillers of the 20th century! \nOriginal Le Phonographic DJs will be playing the tunes and it will be\, probably the most authentic retro alternative music event you will ever go to!

DESCRIPTION:Support comes from Matt Reed\, Jake Donaldson & Alex Boardman\n\n  \nEstablished in 2001 and featuring four stand up comedians\, the HiFi’s Comedy Club is Leeds’ finest independent Stand-Up Comedy event and has been the launch pad for so many Stand-Up comedians over the years with the likes of Alan Carr\, Paul Sinha\, John Bishop\, Katherine Ryan\, Reginald D Hunter\, Tom Stade\, Jason Manford\, Jon Richardson\, Sarah Millican\, Daliso Chaponda\, Russell Howard & Chris Ramsey all calling the venue home during the early days of their careers. \nDoors: 5.30pm until 9pm-ish with the first comedian onstage approximately 6.45pm. We request all ticket holders arrive at the venue no later than 6.15pm to facilitate us getting you seated and served in good time before the first act takes to the stage. Any arrivals after 6.45pm may unfortunately have to wait until the next available interval to be allowed into the venue. \n  \n\n  \nTickets are sold for the Comedy Night as an event and not for individual comedians. Line-ups are subject to change. All acts are confirmed at time of booking. Occasionally\, acts may be replaced for reasons beyond our control. If this happens the act will be replaced with a suitable alternative. We do our best to keep the listings (on our calendar page) as up to date as feasibly possible with the current situation. If this causes any major inconvenience\, please contact info@thehificlub.co.uk. \nFancy dress is not permitted. At the discretion of management and security of The HiFi Club\, same sex groups of 5 or more may be asked for a behavioural bond of £10 per person upon entry to ensure the smooth running of the comedy show.
