DESCRIPTION:Alongside Leo Kearse will be Tania Edwards\, Nicholas De Santo & Bruce Devlin/strong> \nHaving consistently sold out shows in London for the past 5 years\, Comedy Unleashed brings more of its refreshing brand of stand-up comedy to The HiFi Club in Leeds. \nComedy Unleashed nights showcase comedians who have a spirit of exploration\, are counter-cultural and eschew the bland and predictable. And\, if a comedian gets cancelled\, we like to put them on. The audience should be the only judge and if something is funny. \nLeo Kearse\nAward-winning Scottish comedian\, prolific satirist and comic commentator on the madness that surrounds us . Leo always gets a great reception at the club and always does new material. Here’s a video of Leo at the London club \nTania Edwards\nTania is an utterly middle-class sceptic of middle-class sensibilities\, empty-headed fads and groupthink. She is a super popular comic at the London Comedy Unleashed club. \nNicholas De Santo\nConservative (with a proper big C) Iranian Italian stand-up comedian. One of the most popular acts on the Comedy Unleashed YouTube channel. Nicholas does new material about the issues of the day every time he performs. \nBruce Devlin – Compere\nA man of delightfully acerbic wit and the sharpest of lines. ‘A tongue so sharp he could peel a king Edward’ **** the Scotsman \nDoors: 6:30pm until 10:00pm with the first comedian onstage at 7:30pm. Please arrive at the venue by 7:00pm so you can get a drink and get sat down before the first act. If you turn up after 7:00pm you may have to wait until the next available interval to be allowed in. \nTickets are sold for the Comedy Night as an event and not for individual comedians. Line-ups are subject to change. All acts are confirmed at time of booking. Occasionally\, acts may be replaced for reasons beyond our control. If this happens the act will be replaced with a suitable alternative. We do our best to keep the listings (on our calendar page) as up to date as feasibly possible with the current situation.
