DESCRIPTION:Support comes from Dave Longley & two guests still to be confirmed\n\n  \nEstablished in 2001 and featuring four stand up comedians\, the HiFi’s Comedy Club is Leeds’ finest independent Stand-Up Comedy event and has been the launch pad for so many Stand-Up comedians over the years with the likes of Alan Carr\, Paul Sinha\, John Bishop\, Katherine Ryan\, Reginald D Hunter\, Tom Stade\, Jason Manford\, Jon Richardson\, Sarah Millican\, Daliso Chaponda\, Russell Howard & Chris Ramsey all calling the venue home during the early days of their careers. \nDoors: 5.30pm until 9pm-ish with the first comedian onstage approximately 6.45pm. We request all ticket holders arrive at the venue no later than 6.15pm to facilitate us getting you seated and served in good time before the first act takes to the stage. Any arrivals after 6.45pm may unfortunately have to wait until the next available interval to be allowed into the venue. \n  \n\n  \nTickets are sold for the Comedy Night as an event and not for individual comedians. Line-ups are subject to change. All acts are confirmed at time of booking. Occasionally\, acts may be replaced for reasons beyond our control. If this happens the act will be replaced with a suitable alternative. We do our best to keep the listings (on our calendar page) as up to date as feasibly possible with the current situation. SUMMARY:Dominic Frisby - An Evening Of Comedy\, Songs & Satire
DESCRIPTION:An experienced stand up and prolific writer of comic songs\, Dominic’s show is a collection of anecdotes\, jokes and music accompanied by one of Europe’s top jazz pianists\, Chad Lelong\, on keyboards. Doors at 6:30pm and show start time 7:30pm  \nDominic’s songs have many millions of views online. “We’re All Far Right Now” alone has over 50 million\, with Elon Musk one of the many to share it. His song about Keir Starmer\, “Captain Flip Flop”\, also had millions of views\, though on TikTok it only got 27 and was flagged for “electoral interference”. His song about Brexit\, 17 Million Eff Offs\, reached the Top 40 and made Number One on the Amazon Charts. Other favourites\, both live and online\, include “I Love Wetherspoons”\, “I’m Going to Marry Gary” and the ever changing “Maybe” song. \nA prominent libertarian\, he provides a refreshing and funny take on the current issues faced by modern day Britain. As he says himself\, “If you believe in things like free  speech and free trade\, you’ll like this show”. \n“Outstanding” The Times \n“Beautifully crafted\, cleverly pitched comedy” The Scotsman \n“Mercurially witty” The Spectator “Excellent” The Daily Telegraph \nEven The Guardian admits he can be “entertaining”
