SUMMARY:Mindweaver Presents Jon Dasilva (Hacienda)
DESCRIPTION:Defining the sonic landscape of the early UK acid house movement\, Jon Dasilva rose to prominence as a resident DJ at Manchester’s legendary nightclub\, The Haçienda. His career is marked by a deep connection to the city’s underground culture and a reputation as a highly influential figure in electronic music history. \nBeyond the booth\, Dasilva continues to evolve as a producer\, recently collaborating with Skyskrapa and Donald Waugh on the Hottwerk Records release\, “Sun Brings Joy.” Whether scouring local independent record stores or commanding major dance floors\, he maintains a steadfast commitment to the underground aesthetic. This enduring passion for discovery ensures his sets remain vital and forward-thinking. \nSupport comes from James Vox (Hypercolour) and John Paynter (Paisley Dark)
