National Autistic Society Benefit Concert

Friday 9 June 2023

The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people. Since 1962, we’ve been transforming lives, changing attitudes and helping to create a society that works for autistic adults and children. We transform lives by providing residential and day services for adults, schools, diagnosis and other services, and we provide support, guidance and practical advice through our website, branches and helplines to 10s of thousands of the 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, as well as their three million family members and carers. We change attitudes by improving public understanding of autism and the difficulties many autistic people face. We also work closely with governments, local authorities and businesses to help them provide more autism-friendly spaces, deliver better services and improve laws.

The line-up is as follows:

Champ Kind – a fresh-faced band originating from the Northern Guitar jam nights, they combine elements of soul, funk and desert rock to give you a fresh take in the Leeds scene.

Anna Verene – a Swiss-born singer – songwriter, who’s gathered praise from the likes of BBC Introducing with her track “Rewind”. With a warm and nostalgic tone, Anna sings her life experiences in a dreamy- blueish atmosphere. Definitely not one to miss.

Champagne On The Rocks – a 2-piece indie duo from Leeds. Although primarily identifying as indie, they have influences of funk, disco and rock all blended in there as well! A lot of catchy numbers that you don’t want to miss!
